We were surprised by the Best Western Plus Fairfield Hotel. It has a lovely design, but quite a low price! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the staff are very well-reviewed. Putting this as our top choice was an easy decision 🙂

Circle Hotel is quite cool as they offer charming studios – some with kitchens! These studios feel less like a sterile hotel room and more like a home away from home. Also, guests rave about the on-site diner.

While it might not look like much from the outside, from the inside you can tell that Hi-Ho is not your average hotel! With funky interior design, modern looking rooms, and an on-site restaurant we can officially say that this is one of the coolest hotels near Sacred Heart University. You can also check in with your mobile phone, which is pretty sweet.

Distance to University – 15-minute drive to Sacred Heart University
Budget options are a bit more challenging to come across in this part of CT, but Motel 6 Milford offers a low-cost experience with a ton of value! The pool, gym, Wifi and coffee maker are always free, but be aware that there is no free breakfast.

Bridgeport, CT
Distance to University – 10-minute drive to Sacred Heart University
Popular with solo travelers, Holiday Inn Bridgeport-Trumball-Fairfield is the last hotel on our list. Not only a great hotel to get a great night’s sleep, but this Holiday Inn has a fantastic restaurant on-site! Business travelers also love the fast wifi and access to the business center.
