While we love the comfy beds and pillows, and think the location is stellar, it’s the outdoor pool and hot continental breakfast that has us most excited. Don’t forget to try the waffles!

Finding an affordable, yet cheap, hotel in Chico is going to be a challenge – but the Best Western is as close as it gets.
Loaded with freebies (cable TV, hot tub, free Wifi), this motel is great for families or solo travelers who are on a budget. The staff are also very friendly and excited to help!

Possibly the nicest hotel in the area is Courtyard Chico.
Business travelers love it for the business center, families love it for the outdoor pool, and everyone loves the big rooms and cozy beds. While you are there be sure to hang out in the gazebo (it’s beautiful) and grab some of the free breakfast (it’s delicious).

Located in an older, yet charming building, Oxford Suites Chico is another great value hotel in the area. The common and dining areas have a classy and cozy feeling to them, and guests love how clean everything is.
And the best part? The hotels feel more like apartments. Each comes with a kitchen (helping you save on food costs) and a sliding door that helps separate the bedroom from the living area.

The last hotel on our list is quite lovely – the Residence Inn Chico. Boasting an outdoor pool, and outdoor hot tub, and free hot American breakfast, this is a hotel that rocks.
One of our favorite parts? Each room comes equipped with a kitchen! This is a great way to cut down on food costs and make a home-cooked meal.
